Next Meeting is March 18th, 2017...



The room opens at 8:00 AM and the meeting starts at 8:30 AM. Just like Shirley, this group always encouraged new participants and supports sharing of information. The March meeting is our educational meeting with lots of "how to" and questions. Please let Sandy know if you have topic to discuss or information to present. There will be lots of time to share information during lunch and breaks.


  Make Your Reservations

The cost will be $35.00 per person which includes meeting costs, a luncheon buffet, coffee, tea (hot & cold), soft drinks and water all day, and an afternoon cookie. Please make your check for $35.00 payable to Sandy Holmes. The Holiday Inn is holding a block of rooms on a first come basis. For room reservations please call the 937-431-4603 and tell them you are attending the Shirley Farmer Meeting. There are several hotels in the area at lots of different price ranges.

Saturday Lunch Selection

Each attendee must select their lunch in advance of the meeting. Please include your choice with your check.

1) Steak Salad - Flat iron Steak, Chopped Romaine, Roma tomatoes, Asparagus Spears, Fresh Mozzarella, Peppercorn Dressing

2) Cobb Salad - Grilled Chicken Breast and Fresh Garden Greens with Avocado, Crumbled Applewood Bacon and Maytag Bleu Cheese, Sherry Walnut Vinaigrette

3) Vegetarian Antipasto Plate - Balsamic Grilled Peppers and Portobello Mushroom, Roma Tomato, Fresh Mozzarella, Olives, Marinated Artichoke Hearts and Orzo Pasta Salad, Soft Focaccia Wedge

Friday Night Get Together Location

On Friday night, we have 7 PM reservations under Sandy Holmes at Max & Erma's, 2739 Fairfield Commons Blvd, Beavercreek, OH 45431, just in front of the Fairfield Mall, a short drive from the hotel. You can view their menu at www/maxandermas.com. Because we must confirm the headcount in advance, please let Sandy know as soon as possible if you plan to join us for dinner.

After Meeting Pizza Get Together

For those interested in more daylily conversation, right after the meeting we will stop at the Marionís Pizza (1320 N. Fairfield Road, Beavercreek, Oh), about 8 miles from the meeting.

Just For Fun

For those of you who would like to participate, we will have space in the back of the room for you to trade or sell a small number of daylily/garden products. Please arrive by 8 AM and see Doug Sterling if you would like to participate. The silent auction will still be available.
